Ladies and gentlemen… I present to you… my version of boudoir provocateur photography.

If there’s one thing that I love about being a female photographer, it’s about understanding the female body and how I bring out (or at least I try) the inner diva in every woman I take portraits of.

And I must say… boudoir photography is now my ultimate favourite.

The photos below are the first of three sessions that I recently did. Watch this space for the other two.

Special thanks to Siwan Hill for her fabulous make-up!

And if you like these photos, check out my facebook page for the fabulous video montage.

Fantastic little teaser from today’s shoot. Make-up by Lee Appleton.

Just finished a fantastic photo shoot working with make-up artist Lee Appleton.

Lee’s work is just amazing!! I met her during my London trip back in the summer of 2010. I really love working with such creative minds such as Lee, as it gets my creative juices flowing!

And I’m looking forward to doing more collaborations with her. Check out her blog here.

Our model today is Luana from Brazil.  She is such a patient woman as Lee did about three looks on her today! And I must say, the camera just loves her!

Here’s a little teaser from today’s shoot.

London in the winter… it’s still pretty amazing.

For those of you who follow me on facebook, I mentioned earlier today that one of things that made me fall in love with photography is being able to share the photos of my travels. And I do miss just going out and taking photos of the landscape, or the city and it’s vibrant streets.

So today, equipped with my Canon 5D Mark II and 45mm TS-E lens, I went out and discovered the secrets of London. Or the secrets that I could find!!

I live in one of the greatest cities in the world. London is a city rich in history and yet it’s very modern and cosmopolitan. What I love is the fact that most of it’s museums are free admission, so anyone can just enjoy the arts and not have any reason to say they don’t have money to enter the museum. Today I went from East London then all the way to West London. I walked a very good distance, but then that’s the only way to enjoy London.

Although I saw a vast array of colours since the sun was shining today (which is a rare moment in London!), I envisioned the following images in vintage black & white – for that winter feel.

Bridal photo session in the middle of the rice fields… then on to a beach. Only in the Philippines.

This is the second of my Albay, Philippines series and I must say, I have done quite a few portraits in my new career, and this is certainly one of my favourites!!

Frankie was very brave to be barefoot in the rice fields of Tiwi, seeing that these were full of snails and it was pretty muddy (I got submerged myself)!! Nevertheless, I didn’t hear any whine from her… and her portraits are very unique as a result!

As I have always loved travel photography, and have always been fascinated by the beauty of the rice fields in the Philippines, I’ve always wanted to put a bride right in the middle of a rice field. And with Frankie’s stunning beauty, the photos turned out to be much more beautiful than what I had imagined!

Here are some of my favourite shots… Hope you like them too!! Please feel free to leave comments, as these are always appreciated.

Beautiful couple shot in and around one of the most amazing cities in the world, London.

Rob and I attended the Societies’ Convention here in London at the beginning of January… Such a great convention (it’s apparently the biggest in Europe) with master photographers from all over the world giving masterclasses and sharing their knowledge with new pro photographers like me.

I met numerous and wonderful photographers: Doug Gordon, one of New York’s top wedding photographers; Gary Fong, top US wedding photographer and inventor of the Lightsphere; Bjorn Thomassen, top fashion and editorial photographer based in the UK and his work is simply inspiring – these are just to name a few.

It was great being surrounded by these very creative and innovative photographers, and also a very great way to start the new year!

The shots below are some of my favourite shots from the workshop Rob and I attended given by Doug Gordon. We walked around the streets of London, and it was blistering cold (I think it was about 5 degrees that day) and we bow down to the models as they were still very professional, even though they had very little layers on!

I do hope you like them and I would love to know your thoughts. Any feedback is so appreciated and always helpful to Rob and I.
